SCO - Sebring 12h - 30/10/21
GT: Kirill Kolobuxov, Jason Allen, Matt Caruana
When organised by median pace, ATR GT are second to last of the 30 teams. We certainly struggled for pace - but a lot of this can be put down to the damage and Ferrari tyre wear. However, our consistency was very good, and in the top 5 out of all teams.
In terms of average pace over all stints driven, Jason was strongest (2:00:900), followed by Matt (2:01:100), then Kirill (2:01:350). However, this does not take into account the significant impact of track temperature. Skip through the images to see more.
The cumulative lap time graph is quite revealing. After the initial time loss due to the damage, we could never recover, losing time to the leader consistently for the remainder of the race, at a rate of 15-30s per stint, depending on the driver. The early stop and damage cost us 100s. Unfortunately, even without this time loss, we would have finished last on the road by the end of the race, but we would have been within touching distance of the cars ahead.
