The Regulation Handbook available at the link below will be the only official source of information for competitors and stewards/officials. It is the responsibility of all involved parties to insure they are using the latest version of this book. While we have tried to capture as many rules, procedures, ideas and information as possible in this Regulation Book we understand it is impossible to cover every scenario and contingency that could come up. The league will post periodic updates to this Regulation Book on the league website with clearly defined publish date and revision number. Procurement of this regulation book from any location other than then official website download link on the left means you may not be using the latest/current version and neither the league nor its officials/employees can be held responsible for issues arising from a competitor not using the latest, published version of this regulation book. We expect each driver taking part in the series to read these regulations completely as not knowing this information is not an excuse for mistakes or incidents or not following procedures. Further releases of this regulation handbook will include a change log with all updates from previous versions listed at the start of the document.
Protests
This is the location of the incident and protest form for reporting incidents to be reviewed by the race stewards. Only reported incidents and protests will be investigated; if an incident is not reported then it will not be reviewed nor investigated; no exceptions. The League encourages all competitors to submit a reasonable protest if they feel the incident is warranted. Race Stewards reserve the right to submit incident reports for incidents witnessed during the session that do not directly involve them.
The only place to file an incident report and protest is on the form linked to the left; this form will only be available from 12-24 hours following the checker flag of the most recent race. This is the only time period open for filing an incident report and protest.
It is expected that protests shall be reasonable, logical, and based on sound evidence- thus well founded. Nevertheless, a well-founded protest may still be defined as one upon which reasonable people may differ. Protests for any other reason will not be tolerated and the protester will be warned and then penalized. If you feel the incident will be ruled as a racing incident with no penalties to either driver then you should reconsider submitting the protest.
