Apex Technologies LMP2 Championship - Season 2
For 2021 Season 2 the Apex Tech Racing iRacing Team will be hosting its second season of championship LMP2 racing dedicated to showcasing the driving talents of top professional American, European and Worldwide prototype racers and the incredible capabilities of the Dallara P217 LMP2 iRacing prototype endurance road racing machine.
This single car iRacing league features some of the best pro drivers and teams on the iRacing platform battling for cash prizes and bragging rights as well as some very fast Amateur racers fighting for fantastic sim racing vendor prizes. The unique format of the league races feature 2 hour, single driver races with both classes of cars racing on the track at the same time. With Pro teams like Mivano Simracing, SIMMSA Esports, Impulse Racing, Puresims Esports, IRIDIUM Motorsports, Fueltech eSports and more competing in the inaugural season championship the possibilities of an even stronger pro class in Season 2 are real. As the season continues to take shape announcements of additional teams participating will be made. With nearly three thousand individual views of the live and recorded broadcasts of Season 1 on the Simracersworld.tv Youtube platform the future looks very sunny indeed for this exciting championship. The season kicks off on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Hockenheim in Germany- a new and exciting track on the iRacing platform. Subsequent races will occur on seven Sunday evenings through August 22, 2021 at 7pm BST. Cash and Sim Racing Equipment and Software prizes will be announced as we the start of the season gets closer.
Each of the eight race events will be broadcast live on Simracersworld TV Youtube and other social media channels. Additionally, many of the top drivers will be broadcasting their own races on their twitch and other video platforms.
Schedule
Apex Technologies is pleased to announce the official schedule for Season 2 of the highly competitive and well-received LMP2 Championship. Season 2 will have 8 events- two more than season 1- and will visit some new and exciting venues. All sessions start one hour earlier than season 1 at 6PM BST with the race starting at 7PM BST.

Broadcast
Top 3 spots after each race are required to go to post race interview waiting room on league Discord channel; if they don’t show up then prize money will not be paid for that race and forfeited prize money will go to end of season fund to be awarded at league discretion.
League officials can assign any racer to the post race interview broadcast waiting room channel and they must agree to this interview and go immediately to the broadcast waiting room channel.
Competitors are encouraged to broadcast the race on their own streaming and social media channels. Any mention of the race in type or print must use the official series name: “Apex Tech Racing LMP2 Championship Presented By Your Logo Here”.
Competitors must NOT rebroadcast any of the official Simracersworld TV broadcast on their streaming and social media channels.
Each event will be broadcast live on SimRacersworld TV Youtube and social media channels. Each broadcast will be 2.5 hours including qualifying, race and post race interviews.
